While still cruising with the iPhone 15, it’s nice to know that Apple’s iPhone 16 is on the horizon. As usual, Apple has made it a tradition to release a new iPhone series every September, and this year is expected to be no different. However, this iPhone 16S concept design has garnered praise with its square form. Here are the details…
iPhone 16S concept design features a square form and artificial intelligence
As in the past, since the introduction of the first iPhone by Steve Jobs, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro variants are expected to greet us with easily predictable features. Rumors and leaks about the new iPhone will continue for a while longer, that’s for sure. However, this doesn’t deter designers from creating new concepts.
With longer battery life, increased artificial intelligence integration, and perhaps even a smaller screen… While everyone speculates about the possible large screen sizes of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the design team at Phone Industry has presented a different perspective: an iPhone 16S concept design inspired by the Rabbit R1.
The Rabbit (Tavşan) R1 is not your typical device, and its design is out of the ordinary as well. As a small, angular artificial intelligence device, the Rabbit is designed to learn from your commands and do more than an average smartphone can. However, recent reviews have shown that the Rabbit’s real-world performance may not live up to the claims.
Of course, that’s not the main issue here. This news is about the concept of the iPhone 16S, which resembles the Rabbit R1 (except for the grip bars on the top and bottom), because ultimately, the best artificial intelligence device you can carry in your pocket will still be a phone. While the mentioned concept phone’s form factor may have drawn inspiration from the Rabbit R1, it harbors some interesting ideas that revive the iPhone 16 identity.
The iPhone 16S introduces the anticipated Capture Button concept, borrowing from future iPhone models, offering a physical clickable button like a pocket camera. This gives the phone a camera-like feel. This hypothetical capture button is positioned similar to the Motion Button opposite the iPhone 15 Pro, adding a camera-esque vibe to the iPhone.
Apple is reportedly considering redesigning the camera layout for the upcoming iPhone 16 series, but this concept stays true to the foundations of the S series iPhones by placing only a single camera on the back. Another notable aspect of the iPhone 16S concept is its square form factor, along with its entirely metal body and the interesting speaker pattern around the Apple logo on the back.
This phone combines nostalgia with modernity. What do you think? Would you like to buy such a device? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
